Dignity Dreams manufactures and distributes washable sanitary pads to women and girls in need.

The Incubator situated in the North West is where the manufacturing magic happens. The cutters, sewers, controllers and packers are all self employed. We assist with teaching basic accounting and manufacturing skills.

Once they are fully skilled we encourage them to purchase their own machines and continue manufacturing for us at home.

Our cutters have been trained up as Menstrual Educators and are used during the handover process.

Dignity Dreams has a very small structure. The Board consists of volunteers, who assist with strategy, fund raising and fiscal responsibility.

In Memorium

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our founder, dreamer and friend Sandra Millar. 

She passed away after a short illness on 11 May 2017. In memory of her contribution to the NGO and Dignity Dreams Community we are more committed than ever to Menstrual Hygiene Management, the manufacturing and distribution of washable sanitary wear to disadvantaged and at risk young women and girls.

Under Sandra’s leadership Dignity Dreams distributed more than 46 000 packs to young women all across Africa.

We have a number of fund raising initiatives to help us keep up the good work. Thank you for your continued support.
